Forests in the community have been rehabilitated and replanted to ensure tree cover. Different species like primates, butterflies, insects are conserved and preserved. Walking the forests is so relaxing, refreshing, informative and educative. The forest walk involves viewing the beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable forest from a distance, Mugahinga mountains, forest caves and hot water springs.

What is included in the tour?
The forest trek requires the guest to wear appropriate wear depending on the weather. A bottle of water, some glucose, picnic lunch an walking stick are provided and included. The guide gives the guests an experience by explaining the moments, features, creatures and plants on the trek. Plenty of possibility to ask questions and interact with the guide about specific topics.
