About us

Every guest that visits the community contributes to its growth. Guests stay in the community, eat locally grown organic food grown in the village; use local tour guides and cultural groups benefit from the guests. The community school also benefits from the volunteering services of the guests.
Rural tourism is a win-win situation for the guest, community and proprietor because the locals earn from many paid for food, guiding, crafts and experiences from cultural immersion, coffee activity and fishing.

“Memorable experience. I enjoyed volunteering at school and the local food.”

Contribute to locals

Rural Tourism Uganda is incredibly a good experience for both excursonists and tourists. We started Rural tourism in 2009 to give our guests a life time experience and diverse exposure to different culture settings. Bushure community is found in an Enclave in Mafuga Central Forest Reserve in Rubanda District which is at the center of both Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable Park and Lake Bunyonyi. This Rural tourism was started by Ninsiima Evelyne to give guests an experience.
