Description:
Uganda has different tribes and many clans. Each clan has a different totem. Kigezi region is well known for the Bakiga tribe who are known to be strong, open minded and very hospitable people. Their traditional dance is interesting and brings communities and groups together. Both youth, women and men have formed groups to showcase the tradition and live style of Bakiga. As a guest of the tribe you get the chance do a small or more extended traditional dance workshop with them!

What is included in the tour?
A guide will be at your disposal for questions, comments and to keep an eye on the itinerary. It’s a great experience to explore the culture and traditional dance. Usually a camera is needed to capture the moments and also a bottle of water for guests that participate in the dance. These groups also tend to display there craft items. Interested guests buy crafts during these sessions.
